You probably hear the word ‘botanicals’ thrown around a lot where gin is concerned, but what are they? Well, botanicals give gin its flavour. Botanicals are usually herbs, spices, and fruits, but only one botanical is required to make gin qualify as gin and that is the juniper berry.

At WL Distillery, we’ve taken that all-important juniper berry and balanced it with a fruity, refreshing taste featuring apples, pears, raspberries and blackberries. That’s our 1st Edition gin.
